Now perhaps it's because I once had a crush on Rayray -- but aside from very blue eyes and scars I don't see any real similarity.

 

Oates has a square broad face, wide mouth with buck teeth and a button nose

 

Ray has an oblong face, smallish mouth with teeth that slant in and pretty normal long chiseled nose.

As a comic nerd, I can't help but be reminded of Namor the Sub-Mariner from the Marvel Universe whenever I see Oates haha.

  Watch Laura or the ghost and Mrs Muir.  they have the same overbite.  it's so cute.  She could be his mom!

 

I always thought Oates was kind of a beast until I saw what adorable little girls he'd make.
