I dont know how early Columbus is planning on packing it in because they clearly look like a bottom tier team this season, even though its very early. They have fallen way behind already and with Chicago and Detroit in the division, its not gonna be very easy to catch up. I read a Cordell blog about possibly Vermette. I wouldnt mind that at all, but if they can get Turris for cheap I'd be for it. I'd prefer Teddy to not be involved though, he has been one of the few so far this year that has been creating some sparks even with his limited time. Also, I think Henrique looked pretty good last night in his time, nice breakaway chance and he's really hustling out there. Sorry for rambling on about like 5 topics but just wanted to get it all out in one post lol

I'd like him, he can also PK which would take some of the load of Elias, it seems all the PK duties are slowing him down late in games. Maybe its just me, he seems to be moving at Sykora speeds at some times.

Just read what I wrote, and kinda seemed to come off as a Sykora hater, which I would like to clarify, I am definitely not, I was realy pulling fiir him to make the team and still am a big fan, just simply used his name as an example of speed, nothing else lol

Vermette would certainly be a nice fit on this team. Wonder who they'd want in return seeing as they could use both a forward or a defenseman.

Didnt Oshie just sign an extension? I'd like him too but St. Louis would probably want a lot in return.

haha you guys are getting sucked in. columbus isn't going to pack it in. that means they need someone back from NJ on defense who can help immediately. NJ really can't offer that player to them.

plus NJ doesn't need a center going forward unless they think parise's gone and they intend to move elias back to LW. which i don't see why they would do that.

salvador maybe, but these others, no. and columbus is at the cap, so they'd have to make some moves. i just can't see it, not right now. maybe in a few weeks.

i dont like this one bit...turris has been a bust with potential yes but if pho wants a 1st and a good prospect

besides do we want to be competing with the islanders, columbus, or whichever team

for my two cents...elias has not disappointed with parise....merrill not going to plymouth is disappointing and i too would love oshie on our team been saying what this team needs is more indians

but i heard its langenbrunner we're going for

lol i was thinking the same thing, i'd be thrilled getting Backes or Berglund but if we get a deal done with St-Louis its obviously Arnott coming back saddly lol
