The Devils are trying a few games at 7:30 p.m. this season to see if they have any increase in attendance. They have received a lot of requests from fans to start the games at 7:30 p.m. during the week in order to allow more people to get to Newark before the first puck drop. These games are their test run to see if it works and the fans like it better.
