Well were beating a pretty awful buffalo team with its backup goalie. This is what you're supposed to do to teams like this. I'll take the win but not jumping for joy...although the game doesn't seem to be over just yet. Bad.give away.

what does it take here to get banned? like on HFBoards you get infractions or wtv for trolling and you can eventually get banned
some guys here seriously deserves the same treatment and im sure EVERYONE would be happy about it

I enjoyed this game because I love watching Marty handle the puck... no other goalie comes close in history. Such a treat to watch him handle the puck.

Well then your expectations are ludicrous. The team is missing two of its top centers and just got it's most dynamic player back. They just beat one of the best teams in the conference at the moment and scored 5 goals on a goaltender who had yet to lose a game. Maybe take a positive or two out of that and say things are looking brighter instead of posting about how much the team sucks in every post. Even after a win you're not happy, choosing rather to say you're happy the team didn't lose two in a row instead of stating that the team came away with a nice win. You even made up things about the Sabres just to try to not give the Devils credit for a win. Guess what, if the season ended today the Devils would be in the playoffs. After last season I don't know how you could take that any other way but positively. I'm convinced you're not a fan of this team and are just trolling for the sake of trolling.

Also, speaking of faceoffs, I was kind of surprised at how bad Patty looked in the circle tonight. 3 for 17 on the faceoff is just really bad, especially coming off 7 for 22 in Boston. Granted he's taking some tough faceoffs against very good centers, but a ~.250 faceoff win % to start the road trip is pretty rough. Definitely one of the few flaws in Patty's game right now.

lol Patty's never going to be a great faceoff guy. If he can't do it with Oatsie around to teach him, he ain't doing it period, but ultimately that's only a small part of the game anyway.
I seriously can't think of the last time the Devils so much as got five goals...early February against the Panthers last year when we chased Clemmensen?

Oh, I'm not expecting him to be great. I was just surprised at how bad he was (by his own standards) these past two games after looking at the stats for the games. It was just something that stood out to me haha. If he needs to go 3 for 17 on faceoffs to keep his point streak going then so be it.
