Its going to be interesting to see what is taking place as this is unusual. As per TG:
"Told Lou Lamoriello will be addressing media in NJ shortly. No reason given, yet."

My guess is either a special injury report or more details on the lack of suspensions against other teams after big hits on our players... Or that Zach has been traded

"The $297,297 Kovalchuk missed today is money he will never, ever get back. And the more cheques he misses, the better the deal is going to have to be for the players to justify him sitting out. And unlike the owners, the players can direct their leadership to get a deal done regardless of how disadvantageous it is to them."

As per TG: Players are starting to take the ice for morning skate: Sestito, Palmieri, Parise, Janssen, Mills, Pelley, Larsson, Carter out there so far.

Hmm Sestito ... maybe a trade has taken place?

Unfortunately Zach can't officially sign until 1/1/2012 (although I guess both sides could reach an agreement before then) and he's on the ice now so not looking like a trade.. But I love the speculation!! Let's get even crazier, since it's Lou it could be "Boulton's hand is getting better"

Probably has something to do with Kovy reaggravating his leg injury late on Monday unfortunately. Especially since Sestito got called up randomly.

Volchenkov on the ice for the morning skate along with everyone else on roster.... Lamoriello said Tim Sestito is "here to play." Who will sit, I don't know.

I would think Sestito got called up to replace Boulton's roster spot since he got sent down. Pelley is awful and Mills hasn't really done too much.... I think it's just a fourth line only move. I am however curious to see if Kovy is actually playing.

So he'll practice in two weeks, meaning he'll be back closer to four. Like we all suspected, he's in line to return around New Year's.

Kovy is on the ice, so it doesn't seem to be a Kovy injury.
