Devils Black Friday Viewing Party and Skate on the Main Rink at Prudential Center

~~ FYI - They will have rental skates available ~~

"We will be hosting a "Holiday Viewing Party" for the Devils road game against Islanders on Friday, November 25th at the Rock. You will have an opportunity to skate on the Devils main rink, take pictures with NJ and Devils Dancers, and enjoy watching the Devils take on the Islanders on the big video board.

Bring your cameras and take pictures on the ice for your holiday cards! Doors at the Lafayette Tower will open at 2pm, and discounted parking in the VIP Garage as well as "Black Friday" concessions will be available.

A $5 donation will be collected at the door for every fan over the age of 12 with all proceeds going to The Devils Care Foundation."

After today's Devils-Islanders game, there will be a charity game on the ice at Nassau Coliseum. It will be the Communication Workers of America taking on the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office to benefit Angela's House. If anyone attending the game could throw a donation their way, that would be cool. Check out angelashouse.org for more details. The Blue Jackets have at least been playing well lately, since they got healthy.

I don't think any NHL team is a pushover anymore though. Every team has enough talent to win any game on any given day....although the Devils should beat the Isles on most of the days.

People tend to forget real easy the Islanders have given the Devils a hard time, win or lose. To say these are two easy games is not really paying attention to the Devils, either.

Very psyched about the early game and the viewing party seems like a pretty cool idea. I think things like this are terrific for enhancing the fan experience and expanding the audience.
