People Fanboys like you will always find a way to run to the defense of Kovalchuk. :blahblah: I swear no matter what someone always finds an excuse for this guy.

Some of the excuses I can find somewhat valid as in playing with the wrong teammates on his line.

Some excuses are complete garbage like he is still learning the system. He has about 100 games under his belt with the devils and by this stage should know how to play the system.

Jesus christ will you drop it? Kovalchuk didn't have dick to do with Tallinder being worthless. Give it a fvcking rest.

How about DeBoer plays the fvcking LW at fvcking LW maybe? What a novel concept.

You even watching the game? What the fvck did Kovy have to do with any of those goals? :blahblah:

Nothing - for once...but how about he actually do what he was paid to do and SCORE some, that'd help the plus-minus a little :P

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Would love to put him at left wing but we are pretty crammed at that position. PDB doesn't want to break up our most consistent line which is the Elias line so either parise or Kovy will have to go to the third line in that case. Do you want to put our $100 million man there or you want to give and upcoming free agent more incentive to leave?

i just hope they could be more aggressive... i just don't get why they'd be so relax and nonchalant in their own zone...

That trade wouldn't get you a Bobby Ryan JERSEY in return.

Man judging by what I hear the crowd in Denver sounds dead and that is with a three goal lead. They make the devils crowd sound like there is an English soccer riot in the stands.

They're in utter shock :P

Man, we really take the cake. First we let the Isles have their first road win since March now we're letting the Avs romp at home where they can't beat anyone else.

Well, well, well....he found the net. Come on Kovalchoke, i'll gladly eat my opinion of you if you play to your abilites, but you just make it incredibly difficult.

BTW...stop blaming Deboer switching his wing. That's another excuse.

And in a stunning development, Kovy was on ice for all three goals. Who would've guessed?

And in a stunning development, Kovy scored our only goal so far.

Seriously, you and unknown poster and the rest of the idiots who hate "kovalchoke" should go jump off a very tall building. Do us all a favor. Make sure you burn ken's pile of jerseys first too.
