Espn gave the devils a B+ for the first have grading. Boston and the rags got perfect A+ , philly an A- and Florida got the only other B+.
I think those are all fair grades. Rags are a contender this year whether we all want to admit it or not, deep down its the truth. Overall B+ for us is a little strong but Ill take it.

New Jersey Devils
Grade: B-plus
Summary: The Devils have overcome slow starts by Ilya Kovalchuk and Zach Parise and received unlikely contributions from rookie of the year candidate Adam Henrique to stay in the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference. Parise's future, though, remains uncertain as are the team's playoff aspirations.
Trending: Neutral.
The West also has some higher grades too... The Blues got an A+, followed by Canucks and Wings with the A. Sharks have an A- and Blackhawks the B+

Given all the BUZZ about the bruins clear domination, isnt it somewhat amazing that we are only 5 points away from them???!!!Make sure to provide the link: http://espn.go.com/n...-2011-12-season

They deserve a lot of that buzz, considering they were cellar dwelling to start. I was hoping thats how the Devs were going to be last season... we just started way to freakin late, and don't have the depth the Bruins have.Given all the BUZZ about the bruins clear domination, isnt it somewhat amazing that we are only 5 points away from them???!!!

ESPN hates hockey. But that's cool. NHL.com has us ranked #10 in the entire league too if anyone cares..can't find the link though sorry.
Yep, power rankings from yesterday morning, NHL has us as #10: http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=610652
TSN has us a bit lower, at #16: http://tsn.ca/fantas...s/rankings/nhl/

That's pretty cool. I can't stand ESPN but for whatever reason still go to read whatever they put up.
haha I feel the same way.
