Personally, I have the moving avatars. It doesn't matter what the content is, it's the movement itself. Way too distracting for a forum, where what people are writing is the actual content. Movement naturally draws the eye toward it (it's a survival instinct, after all), so it makes reading content that is next to the graphic difficult.
That's why I rarely read Fire & Ice, incidentally. The constantly moving twitter feed and news ticker are annoying when the main content to consume is written. That kind of thing is great for video content such as television, where half the content that you're consuming is audio, but it's terrible when you're supposed to read the article.
That's also a big reason why I disable signatures on just about every forum I join. Some moron inevitably adds a graphic or something with some motion in it. The pervasive animated gifs on this forum have me "this close" to turning off avatars here... but then I wouldn't be able to see the hottie in Masked Fan's avatar. *sigh*
LOL SORRY. Definitely not changing my GIF though!

I think there is an error in there. It should read this:
LET'S GO DEVILS
LIKE THE SAYING GOES:
I SPENT A MONTH IN WINNIPEG...
...LAST NIGHT
So how it V and U both H?

Winnipeg... come for the bus rides... stay because you've been stabbed.
Ray Lewis spends his offseasons in the 'Peg, apparently.

My bad, yo. Not enough point on my V when I wrote it down.
Read it off the paper as a U.
A thousand apologies, my good man.

"Winnipeg and Minneapolis (USA) were formerly sister cities...I'll bet Minneapolis broke up with Winnipeg. Then Winnipeg got drunk down at the library, beat up a guy, caught polio and froze to death."
Hilarious stuff.

My guess is that they'll sit Henrique for one ore game (tonight's). It sounds like he's OK, but I tend to agree with Lou's philosophy that it's generally better to be overly cautious when you can be.
Yes, Henrique is sitting tonight to nurse his groin.

So you guys did read that link!
I read it...good stuff.
You know its bad when "the most important moment in Winnipeg's history was the General Strike of 1919, in which 30,000 workers walked off their jobs. The strike ended when the mounties rode in and killed and wounded a bunch of people." Well, maybe there are more similarities between Winnipeg and Newark than I first thought.

Asked about Henrique, Devils coach Pete DeBoer said: "He's getting better. He's feeling better every day. I think if tonight was a playoff game, you might see him in the lineup. We're looking long term at this. He'll skate tomorrow and practice with us as long as he keeps progressing the way he is."
So... yea. Being overly cautious.

So... yea. Being overly cautious.

Zach Parise-Dainius Zubrus-Ilya Kovalchuk
Petr Sykora-Patrik Elias-David Clarkson
Ryan Carter-Jacob Josefson-Mattias Tedenby
Eric Boulton-Steve Zalewski-Brad Mills
Anyway... I hate to say it, but I have a bad feeling about this game. I really hope that the guys prove me wrong, tonight.
