I have no idea what you're talking about. We've been hard on the forecheck, and we dictated play for most of the game. There's a reason why Philly called a timeout in the 2nd. Not sure how you can say we're playing crappy after something like that.
Yes, there are times when we let up for a few minutes and it costs us, and that's why I said that one of our problems is not playing a full 60 minutes. Fundamentally, however, this team is able to control play when they want to, even against Boston or Philly.

This was one of the most frustrating games to watch this year. This was a big game.

It's just bad luck, and it comes and goes. We outshot Boston 31-25 and are outshooting Philly 30-17. You shouldn't be losing those games 4-1. Pittsburgh lost 6 in a row in which they scored something like 8 goals total or something like that, and since then they've been scoring in bunches. It just so happened that we hit a scoring rut against the wrong teams at the wrong time. I don't think you can say we really played badly, except for some isolated pockets here and there.

Not the only comment on Foster that I've seen. Y'all are crazy. And wrong.Foster is a piece of sh!t. He should be banished from the NHL.

59.6% chance, after this game.I'll say it right now: There's probably a 30% chance we make the playoffs this season. 6-1, 4-1, 5-1, 4-1. Playoff bound teams don't lose games by this much and this often.

More like both teams were average but the Devils were worse. Once again our captain fails to show up in these type of games.Yea, Parise is correct. The Devils played OK, but the Flyers played better.

Oh let's point out that we had another awesome 3rd period too. This team is such a disappointment right now. They totally proved me wrong. I figured after that road trip they'd come back and really start playing like they want it, instead they get embarrassed by two of the top teams in the East. The sad thing is, they did out play these teams, and to still lose the way that they did really leads me to believe this team is in BIG trouble and certainly NOT heading in the right direction.
DeBoer: "You want to send a message. (It was) two teams ahead of us in the standings, an opportunity to really take a step. We didn't" - Yea..no sh!t Deboer.
Brodeur: "We’ve got to figure out something to get ourselves to play better against top teams.”

Sad, but true.Kovalchuk on Devils' 31 shots: “All the shots were from the outside and no screen. I can play goal and save them. "
