We should go after both Kubs and Zidlicky for the right price. Only problem is Zid's contract. I feel our defense needs two guys. Get rid of Foster, he can be replaced easily by Kubina/Zidlicky. Tallinder has the clot and hasn't been so solid. Volchenkov's style can mean injury at a blocked shot. Salvador is only a year removed from PCS. Greene hasn't been the most stable health wise in the past. Larsson has been out now. Fayne or Lars haven't even seen the playoffs yet...

I think It depends on who Gill is paired with. If it is one of Suter/Weber, then one of he two can think more about offense then defense.

Kind of bummed to see Blake Geoffrion traded from Nashville. He grew up in the fantastic town of Brentwood just outside of Nashville where I lived briefly a few years ago and hope to move back to. He was the first native of Tennessee to play in the NHL.

Kinda crazy that he grew up in Tennessee and got to play for the Preds, and now he gets to play in Montreal, where his grandfather was a legend.

Same here. He was fantastic for promoting the game to youth in the Nashville area.

I saw it on HF but supposedly there were 10 scouts from other teams including Minnesota in the press box for tonight's game. But than again scouts are everywhere during this time.

He was stellar in his time in NJ, he was never on the ice for a goal against, not even on the PK... Never took a bad penalty... Etc etc

It just clicked. We were really firing on all cyclinders with him but it was time for him to go - he had run his course as a Devil.

He is Lou's biggest addition because he gets Rolston off our hands.
