It is official, but I think Ruutu and Moen can add depth and grit on our RW and Moore is impressive in the playoffs the past two seasons for Mtl and TB.

Ruutu is a nice player - but where would he fit? He's shown some scoring touch, but he's streaky as all hell. Maybe he could be the new Grant Marshall for the Devils, playing with the big boys if Parise and Kovalchuk were split up... but I only think that happens if Zajac is healthy, which seems doubtful for this season. Parise-Zajac-Ruutu, Kovalchuk-Henrique-Clarkson, Sykora-Elias-Zubrus, Ponikarovsky-Carter-Josefson would certainly be fun to ice, though. It is official, but I think Ruutu and Moen can add depth and grit on our RW and Moore is impressive in the playoffs the past two seasons for Mtl and TB.
Moen would be a solid addition for depth, as he could do limited minutes + PK. Moore would be nice, giving the Devils a third line center with experience. Ponikarovsky-Moore-Clarkson would be a pain in the butt to play against.
