Oh crap
I'm right there with ya man. I can't believe we wouldn't stay with the hot hand. Wtf. I'm pissed.
Anyway I had a dream last night that the Devils were up 3-1 at some point in the game and that Tao scored. Yes, Tao.
Last time I dreamt the Devils were tied 3-3 in the third and we all know that's exactly what ended up happening last game. Let's see what happens tonight. A win would be so awesome but I need to calm myself and not expect too, too much. I'd take a point.

Also....
Is in tonight!!!
Staged fight time.
I gotta admit, I have zero issues with a fight erupting in the heat of the moment (Kovy), but the "Let's fight because that's what we do and we can't do much else" thing is really getting old.
Can't see Cam making much of a difference in this one, but he'll get his fight in. Whatever.
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!
Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime? - Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.
Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.
It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

They aren't necessarily staged fights. The opposing team knows why he's there, and that's to fight, hit people and bring energy. I understand why people think the fights are staged but in reality none of us know what is being said before the puck drops on the face off. I'm sure the opposing team's "tough guy" have things to prove also and who better to prove it against then Cam Janssen.

Boulton-JJ-Jansenn. JJ is probably like what the hell did I do to deserve this.
From TG:
“They’re expecting us to score probably two or three goals apiece,” Janssen joked.

I completely agree with this as well. The retarded staged fights are simply embarrassing and annoying. They are also hindering the growth of hockey as a whole and really difficult to explain to people who are hockey-curious but not quite hooked yet.

It's for fantasy hockey. So Foster, however good or bad his defensive play may be, would be the highest ranked Devils for his powerplay time.

Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.

alright so TG reported that today's morning skate's 4th line was
Boulton- Josefson- Janssen
Did we kinda just throw JJ in there and hope he can do something? I guess it could work but Im not getting my hopes up
Kovy's going to play with them half the time anyway, more often than not it'll be Kovy-JJ-Boulton on the fourth line.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Oh please, I don't want to get into an argument with you, but how are these "staged fights"? Janssen is definitely more of an energy factor and "just in case" the Rags want to take the game to that physical aspect. Clarkson has evolved into a 20 goal scorer and Kovy can't spend more time in the box for KO'ing people. It was either Mills or Janssen having to step up so I'd rather see Janssen has more fighting experience.
