Too bad, because it's really Burke that should be getting canned.

Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.
How do you spot risk? How do you avoid risk? And what makes it so risky?

I wonder if Randy Carlyle's abbrasive style with players will go over with the Leaf players. I think that was part of Ron Wilson's problem, he constantly called players out and blamed individuals for losses. I think it was especially hard on young players like Reimer, Kadri and Schenn.

Brian Burke may be the real problem in Toronto.

When does Burke bring in Bryzgalov to solve his goaltending issues? :whistling:

Oh, and this is a classic find courtesy of another board (a Brian Burke tweet from December 1)

#Leafs RT @LeafsBB20: Sad to hear about Randy Carlyle. But our coach isn't going anywhere!

The logical move would've been to bring in a) a player's coach and b) someone who is good with youngsters. Carlyle is neither and it'll be interesting to see what he makes of Joffrey "you're not good enough for the NHL" Lupul.

This wasn't Wilson's fault. The team wasn't very good. They played over their heads early, but came back to earth.
