Why does the word "FR0GS" turn to "FRENCH"? That is either insulting to the Francophones that visit the board, or insulting to the little green hoppy creatures, depending on your point of view....

really.. u cant type french on here? I had to test it out, I dont believe u all!!

"its not easy being green" - Kermit the Frog

Who discovered this? AND exactly how did this discovery come about?

HMM... so u can type it with a Capital F just not a lower case.. it worked in my Kermit line but not my first line

lower case - frog
Capital - Frog

i dont get it..........WTF is going on - it didnt work in my first sentence but now its working both ways!

Tim O'Connor

langsgirl: has to be plural.

Kermit the Frog works.
But Kermit and Robin are french, does not.

As for how I discovered it was the ad telling people to take their Moms to see slimy reptiles, like the french, on mothers day.

Moustic, you have to see the thread in "introduce yourself". The role call one. That might help. :P

It isn't meant to be an insult against our French Canadian posters. During the pre-war buildup in Iraq things got out of hand here and f/r/o/g was used enough that I had to have it filtered. There are other words in the filter dictionary such as curses and vulgar words.

But of course! Monsieur Wenger is a genius... Thierry Henry is incredible and cannot be compared... Patrick Vieira is the best midfielder in England if not the world... Pires creates so much from the flank.. and Aliadiere and Clichy will be fixtures in the future! Shame about Cygan

Hey! I must protest! Some of it's damn good: oxtail soup, Yorkshire pud, Eton mess, jellied eels :puke: etc etc (ok, the etcs are 'cos I can't think of anymore examples)

As regards Arsenal: the whole team were superb- an unbeaten season is testament to that. Although Viera does tend to fall over a lot. The had Va-Va-Voom (hehehehe, Henry is so cute, far cuter than Beckham- 'is it joie-de-vivre? Or is it je ne sais quoi').

And Bravo! to the French for the 6 Nations rugby as well. 24-21 against England- am I still bitter? Damn right I am. But it was well deserved.
