You would not believe how empty this building is.. If we had another 2k it would be embarrassing.. This one is midweek Thrashers when both teams are fighting for the top draft pick
Edit - I'm exaggerating a bit but for a Sunday against the Flyers its beyond sad
It is a sunday night and day light savings. Both - who te fvck wants to goto work monday tired.
Is we have Kovy?

Elias looking like it's 2001 with that kind of speed. He has had a couple bursts lately. Nice to know he can still turn on the jets when he needs to.
This has been his steadiest year since signing the big deal. He had a strong year in '08-'09, but he slowed up in the second half a bit that season...this year he's just been so consistent.
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!
Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime? - Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.
Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.
It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

On tv is shows. There are a ton of empty seats from what I see on tv and it is not just the clubs but the ends too.
In fact because it is daylight savings I would think it would be more packed since it will seem like it is starting and ending earlier when tomorrow is a weekday.

Definitely. For so long he was counted on to be the go-to-guy or the next in line. This has been his steadiest year since signing the big deal. He had a strong year in '08-'09, but he slowed up in the second half a bit that season...this year he's just been so consistent.
I'm not overly big on stats, but with teams worried about Parise and Kovy with their top guys, Elias seems to be killing his competition. In a couple years he'll be the perfect checking line player - if he isn't already.

lol at daylight savings being an excuse, it's just a weird weekend start time and also a premier price game. Good luck finding someone to buy the $45+ seats in the upper corners when you can't discount without annoying the sth's.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

If he is, I don't know if it will be as a Devil. He has one year left after this one...if he has another PPG-type season, he may want one last big payday...who knows what the Devils will be able to swing financially in the seasons to come.
