Just prior to tonight's game Flyers head coach also announced that Sergei Bobrovsky will get the start in net tonight at the Prudential Center, breaking the streak of Ilya Bryzgalov's 11-straight starts.
Bobrovsky's last start came on Feb. 12, a 4-3 loss to the Red Wings at Detroit. He also appeared in 23 minutes of ice time in relief of Bryzgalov in the Flyers 6-4 loss vs. Pittsburgh on Feb. 18.
So far this season, Bobrovsky holds a 12-8-1 record with a 2.99 goals-against average and .900 save percentage in 24 games played. He is 1-1-1 lifetime against the New Jersey Devils.
In three career starts against the Devils, Bob has a 1-1-1 record with a 4.69 GAA and .864 SV%
