Moose is playing tomorrow...you guys really wanted him to start 'both'? Or did you think Pete was going to sit him against the Rangers and play him against Ottawa? Yeah, that would have really gone over well.

How about icing a fourth line that actually you know, PLAYS HOCKEY?!

ok, dubinsky with an unnecessary charge - not a board- and still not even a warning.

I'm sure everyone will jump all over moose tomorrow if he doesnt get a shutout, since that seems to be the standard.

Glad to still be in this one, it's frustrating.

How can some people be blaming Brodeur? HOW?

Oh you didn't know?

yeah, absolutely no need for Boulton and Jannsen dressed in the same game. yet alone on the same line. pick one Petey. we've got plenty of people that can drop the gloves. Carter, Clarky, hell even Kovy for that matter...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder
of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate.
All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in the rain.

Dude didn't you see the goals?
The 4 on 2..ok..that's too many people to follow considering he only has two eyeballs...but those other two goals were unMarty like during the 2nd half of the season.

Weird game. Happy with the last 10 minutes. Hopefully they all took their tampons out and decide to play the last 20min. Secret is... Get pucks on net.

For once, i'd like to see someone who covers the Devils, TG or Chere, to start calling out Deboer for playing those clowns. Let's see Pete answer that without using the term "energy".

Oh, they bring energy all right...an ECHL hockey player has to bring that kind of energy to have hope of playing in the NHL, but they won't help win NHL hockey games.

I think the goons are useful down the stretch since the Devils are sitting at a good playoff position.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.
