“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

That's the spirit!
Glad we can replace Elias w/ Zajac in the shootout...
Elias is 19-for-48 in the shootout (39.6%) lifetime and 5-for-11 (45.5%) this season.
Zajac is 4-for-13 lifetime for 30.8%
But let me guess...since Elias didn't get it done last night, he needs to replaced in the shootout.
What a joke of a post.
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!
Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime? - Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.
Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.
It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

I guess that makes sense. He's probably used to it by now

At least u would hope he doesn't because it wouldn't be smart to push him hard in his first game back.

They will probably give Henrique or Josefson a couple of shifts between Kovalchuk and Ponikarovsky to lighten Zajac's ice time.I doubt Zajac plays more than 10-15 minutes tomorrow.

Adam is a C though.
I don't want Zajac on the 1st line right away.
That's asking for fatigue.
