That whole overtime was really sketchy. LA got away with a ton of stuff.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

This LA team reminds me of the 2003 Ducks........... :burn:

It doesn't happen every time, Stevens has touched it before. I just don't get it. It doesn't happen in any of the other sports that I can think of. It's just stupid. Pick the damn trophy up and have some fun with it.

They're alot better than the 2003 Ducks.

That was a pretty atrociously officiated period both ways.

Maybe the road to the SC reminds me of them. The 02-03 Ducks played 14 total games in the postseason, the Kings played 14 as well. Both with hot goaltenders both defeated the defending western conference champions in the first round.

I don't know if it's as much of a superstition as it is the captain deciding "let's not have a celebration until we've won what we're really after."
"Swim against the tide, don't follow the group, stay away from the majority, seek out the fresh and new, stay away from the poseurs, and don't be a barnacle. Be original, be different, be passionate, be selfless and be free. Be a hockey fan."

over what? Dustin Brown?

Milbury is saying he had enough time to stop, JR said it was a split second after the whistle. I agree with JR on that one, whether if it was a knee or not is a different story.

These two need to have a boxing match for a charity. I'd buy a ticket.
