Clarkson needs to put the few scoring chances he is going to get tonight in the net. He had a few that were just mind blowing and he missed them. Theo just drops the rebounds out there. We need to capitalize on that and crash the net more.

Ok, its time to call ridiculous. We have sellout playoff games all the time when we get to the playoffs. This "Sell the Rock out" hysteria is created by fans who don't have much experience going to games.

Season ticket holder here. I've seen more of my share of empty seats in past playoffs. It's exciting to be back into the playoffs after 2 years and to know the atmosphere is going to be amazing. It's extremely discouraging sometimes the games that end up being empty. Our last game against the Flyers, my section was 40% empty and 50% in Flyers jerseys.

Knowing that tonight's game is sold out with 98% Devils fans is a good feeling for once. That's all!

Well two of the series were against the Rangers and Flyers. Selling out four Canes games was pretty impressive - mainly the first two, but pricing was much higher this year than even three years ago. Last-minute discounts or not, selling out all the Panther games (especially on weekdays) would be a noteworthy achievement too.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

"Quite frankly, all the players are getting paid too much and all the contracts are too long," general manager Lou Lamoriello said. "But if you want to compete in this market and you want to win, there are some things you have to do."

For almost every one of our playoff games the house is at least full enough to feel sold out. That's all that matters.

Knowing that tonight's game is sold out with 98% Devils fans is a good feeling for once. That's all!

Fair enough.
