Yeah, as in game 1 we let up. the 3 goal curse. BUT the refs f-ed up again. Elias for unsportsmanlike? These are playoffs for THE CUP, not the Lady Byng. And they put Salvador and Bernier in the box and only Upshall for the Panthers? This is crap. What happened to "let them play"?
Gotta tighten up for the rest of the game though. Cannot let them gain anymore momentum

Forget a full 60, Devils couldn't even play a full 20.

He has got to do better. A lot of our great regular season penalty kill was because of goaltending and I feel that part has disappeared.

Hey least were up by a goal. Can't believe they haven't learned to stay out of the box. If they wanna milk a 3 goal lead that's fine, but Cmon with the penalties. Panthers pp is killing us.

i still believe with my heart and soul its due to not having enough help from the blue line. they just ask too much of their forwards and the result is the bipolar play.

Whether the penalty was warranted or not - we have to be able to PK.
I think Volch injured/sick is a huge factor.
It all goes back to not being able to clear the zone by the 2 D - rely too much on the forward core to do it - its the same problem since 2009.

Yes, I'm mad about the PK, but I'm downright furious over the call on Elias. WTF did he do to warrant that? Completely ruined our momentum. Nevertheless need to play through that sh!t and steal it back. The first 10 minutes was great. Loved hearing the fans mock the Panthers "fans" Jose, Jose, Jose chant.

The Elias call (unsportsmanlike conduct WTF???) was bullsh!t but why do stuff like that when you know the only way the Panthers can score is on the PP??
The Panthers were near the bottom in total goals scored, and near the top in PP goals scored. Are the Devils not even aware of that?
