Yep. Should probably base the series analysis on less than 3 full periods of play.

Le sigh.

Actually, what I said (if you're talking to me) is based on several years of seeing the same thing come playoff time. A fair argument to made against that observation is that this team is largely different than the '10 team.

I had the Flyers winning in five in '10, and have them winning in five in this series. Will I still be watching and hoping for better? Of course I will.

Hard to believe this one is 3-3...Flyers are really going to be kicking themselves if they lose this one.

THE NHL MUST LOVE THE DEVILS - from who else? A RANGER fan!
[Mark Messier]: A big, bald attention whore with a stupid Easter Island-lookin face. - from who else? DaneykoIsGod!

Even when Marty comes back maybe Larry should put Clemmensen to be on the goal during the shootouts.
Can the coach do that ? Switch the goalies 5 seconds to go in overtime?
- Most priceless quote ever posted on a message board.

Martin Brodeur: THE MOST ALL-TIME WINS!, 12 straight seasons of 30+ wins, 3 Stanley Cups, 4 Vezina Trophies, and zero respect from too many so-called Devils "fans" who are either too young or too bandwagon to remember the much darker days of Sean Burke, Craig Billington, Bob Sauve, Alain Chevrier, and the talented but overwhelmed Chico Resch, among many others.

It's easy to support a great player when he's playing at his very best. It takes a true fan to support that same player during those rare moments and stretches when he's not. Babe Ruth went 0-4 some games, and sometimes Wayne Gretzky was held pointless. There may be such a thing as greatness, but no such thing as absolute perfection every single night.

hes cost them a goal but not really, its just a better team is exposing him this round and now youre seeing why he's a 7th/8th D at best.

Kovy looks just lost out there, if your this hurt sit his ass already. Appreciate the effort but he is giving nothing along the boards and in the defensive end he can't get good push off.

So are the Flyers really...no Carter, Richards or Pronger this time, but they do have Bryz instead of Boucher, and are still a bigger, faster team than we are. At least we finally got some on Bryz this time, but still need another.

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Whatever issues they've had in these playoffs, it's definitely not lack of heart or effort. These guys do try and they do fight. But this Flyer team is not a good matchup for them. Having said that, Bryz is definitely no sure thing in net...that Sykora goal was awful.

You do know that Devil fans are so used to being in the playoffs that people save their money for the later rounds, right? Triumph

Sit him for who? We've only got garbage waiting in the press box, that's why our fourth line stunk for most of the year. Plus he can still contribute offensively if you give him some space. It'd be nice if they could get him off the point, but other than Zidlicky (and he's already on the point) who else can really play there?

thats why the flyers arent going to play for the cup. its really a matter of the flyers scoring enough and forcing the other teams to match them.

posts like this are amusing. they offer no insight whatsoever other then people who really cant see the forest for the trees and point fingers at others who are in tune to what they see and watch.

And vice versa.

There are negative posts and then there are your posts. Why do you bother to watch our "inferior" team? Sheesh.
