You don't turn this around in a couple shifts. Its going to take a little time, but I know the guys will come back. Because I can see it. -- Jacques Lemaire

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

All their paychecks are signed by the same guy who signs the Flyers' paychecks. Comcast owns all. #promoteyourproduct #conflictofinterests #businessethics
All I could think of reading this.

The best line was half way through the 2nd.......
"this how the Flyers like to play. This is bad for the Devils"
"the Flyers have no shots on goal"
"that is ok, they are happy handling the puck"
????????
Really!!!!!!!!
The best part about this was that in the 1st he said the slow pace favored the Devils and that Lavoliette was yelling at the Flyers to pick up the pace. What a moron.

Is it just me or does it seem like they hate the Devils. Everything is pro Philly
NBC and the Flyers are owned by the same company...so yeah..there is no love for the Devils, and plenty for the Fly's
(just read your post D I G, same thing)

You can't be serious. I was at the game sitting at the opposite end behind the Devils net that period and I could have sworn that the stands were elevated at least 6 more inches than at the start of the game, the ice was tilted that bad. The Flyers fans were far more realistic about their play, the boos had already started by the mid-way point of the second. Don't know what game the NBC people were watching.
Unfortunately Pierre Maguire moved to NBC from TSN a couple years after I moved from Canada to the US. I was so happy to not ever have to hear him again when I left, and then he showed up on the American national NHL broadcast. It's actually worse than it was in Canada, because TSN's never got anything past the second round. Having to hear him on the Stanley Cup broadcast makes me want to puke.

Yeah, this was particularly bad. They also offered up some kinda comment like, "You can sense the Flyers are comfortable with this kind of game..."
So getting outplayed and outshot and having to rely on a goalie who's a noted playoff bust is "comfortable"?
Total crazy-sauce, son!
