don't forget the ghosts of 2010.How fitting is this series? We already killed the ghosts of Carolina. Now lets kill the ghosts of 1-9-9-4.
Lets Go Devils.
Nothing else matters.

The is a much better defensive team than we've faced our first 2 rounds.
we're also a better defensive team than Ottawa and Washington, and the Rags had a tough time getting consistent pressure against them as well.

No team in the history of the NHL has ever one a 3rd series after winning 2 consecutive 7 game series...
(id say the same thing if we played the caps)

Set up the forecheck, keep the pressure on Lundquist, hope you can get a couple past him.
You don't turn this around in a couple shifts. Its going to take a little time, but I know the guys will come back. Because I can see it. -- Jacques Lemaire

Brodeur: NO softies, Rangers feed off of those type of goals
Forecheck: Expose Bickel Stralman and DZ, and wear down their big guys, Girardi Staal and McDougnah
Special Teams: Although they should keep it a 5 on 5 series I feel our special teams are superior to theirs
Fourth Line: Run a muck against any line their matched up against
Elias: He is our X factor in this series, he is due for some points in these playoffs

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

The real fans can't afford it, and they bitterly take it out on Devils fans for whatever reason.

I think Clarkson is gonna be the X factor in this series.
