Am I the only one who thinks this? Whenever I see Tortorella, all I picture is the scummy douche from Die Hard?
You decide.

"I love working for New Jersey," Burns said. "They've been great to me. They've supported me. (General manager) Lou (Lamoriello) is a godsend for me because he's looked after me, and I know I can stay close to hockey."

I'm just waiting for the part where Hans decides to make an example of him to John.

Larry? First time I saw him dance was January 96. I was away at school that year, only went to two games while home on breaks and he was there for both games. Before him it was a fat guy in the same section who used to wear camoflauge pants and a jersey. Not sure how long he was there for, though. Also not sure how long Larry has had season tickets. Old timers will remember the Chief. He was a guy who worked at Cosby's, was a little slow, but it his heart was in the right place. He used to walk around with an Indian head dress. He actually ran for city council, but passed away in the late-90's. Off-hand, can't remember when he stopped coming to games or walking around.

According to Wikipedia (is there anything NOT on that site), Larry has had seasons since 1988. Chief "retired" following the 95 season and passed away in January of this year. I remember Steve Somers saying he passed away much much earlier.

"A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness."

ok, then why don't we send reporters into their locker room and ask?

LOL media as expected is skewering Torts for his antics. I've read a few articles today already where it seems they're making fun of him.

Even Al Trautwig is needling Torts on his double standard press conferences lol (remarking about how long his Game 7 one went, then last night saying it was predictably short).

I'm thinking the bad ice at MSG really helps the Rangers style play so I'm hoping the ice at Pru is pretty decent.

Your unconditional rejection of violence makes you smugly think of yourselves as noble, as enlightened, but in reality it is nothing less than abject moral capitulation to evil. Unconditional rejection of self-defense, because you think its a supposed surrender to violence, leaves you no resort but begging for mercy or offering appeasement.

Dancing Larry is awesome, I sat next to him this year at the Sens Rangs game and he was a cool guy.

I've met him too, he's a real nice guy and easy going. Saw him at a concert at prudential center and asked him what he thought of the first class arena we had and he immediately knew i was a devils fan. Even ranger fans call him ++++ larry though

"The $297,297 Kovalchuk missed today is money he will never, ever get back. And the more cheques he misses, the better the deal is going to have to be for the players to justify him sitting out. And unlike the owners, the players can direct their leadership to get a deal done regardless of how disadvantageous it is to them."

The League has no choice but to have the Rangers win. Devils have no fans generally speaking.

Yeah? I blow a hole in your face and then I go in the house... and I sleep like a baby. You can count on that. We used to stack fvcks like you five feet high in Korea... use ya for sandbags.
