it wasn't that good, and there was even a point where it appeared like elias forgot he was a wing. but the other two forward lines were excellent.

You're missing something. He's calling the hit on Bernier legal - Rupp left his feet, but barely. I think the refs saw that Rupp was looking to start something though, he had already given two rabbit punches to Bernier off the faceoff.

seems likely. Refs saw rupp was out to do some damage, and had their eye on him. Anything over the line was going be a call.
