No killer instinct. They find ways to lose and tonight's no exception.
They certainly found ways to lose all the way to the cup finals

-The first Kings goal was a softy
-Clarky and Fayne had misses that were unbelievable.
-We outplayed them in the 3rd and most of OT.
Who was the idiot defending the breakaway?

Zubrus and Salvador were the ones back and zids was just gone

I saw Zubrus and Salvador back there but zids was MIA
How was this game going to be a blowout win? At no point did the devils lead in this game.
It's a blowout win if we're not throwing up on ourselves every time we were presented with a wide open net.

Sorry but losing a blowout win is when we actually blow a lead that we actually had. We just missed glorious opportunities and so did the kings.

The Kings actually got outplayed for literary the first time in the playoffs by us and they pull off a win...

They in no way had what Clarkson and Fayne had. No Goddamned way in Hell.

To be fair, the Devils didn't impress either and Kovy wasn't really himself until OT or so, but hey, it can only go uphill from here. Marty, OTOH, except for that ugly first goal, was solid tonight.

Brodeur played out of his mind and that save where he stacked his pads saved a goal that was pretty much certain.

Having a goalie play out of his mind is not the same as repeatedly choking on open nets.

If you want to count players missing glorious chances as part of a blowout then pretty muh every game played is a blown blowout game.
