Lemieux is one thing but Ken Holland? You say no to him the same way you say no to Lou.

Who said 10 AM is Lou's deadline? Zach isn't in the agent's office yet, maybe he's not texting his decision when he's in transit.

I'm just reading that as a heads up for all other GMs around the league. A courtesy to the other GMs that they should proceed with their plan A free agency plans if there is no deal with the Devils at 10am and to go with their plan B if he does sign.

10 AM could be a time frame where they need to decide before Zach makes plans to travel to the agent's offices, it could be just a random time Zach gave Lou. How the hell do we know why 10 AM got floated?

All I've read is that Parise will decide if he is going to be a UFA by 10, not that Lou set a deadline. Why would Lou tell him he has until 10 to decide? He's just going to stop offering contracts if it gets beyond 10:00? That doesn't make any sense.EVERYONE?

I mean the only reason for a deadline is if you're worried about him walking and feel like you need to go on to plan B sooner rather than later but then why make the deadline 10 instead of 12? I don't see the point for Lou to do that.
