Schedule should come out around 11am this morning. We typically create a thread to analyze and discuss. For me, it's always fun looking at when we play the local rivals an when I'll be going to Long Island for a game or 2. I'll try to throw the Devils schedule up here when I get a chance today

Always look forward for the St. Pattys game, hopefully they give it to us again this year. I wonder who we will open at home against, I predict the Panthers.

Last season the gf and I started our arena tour and hit NJ, PHI, NYR and NYI.. Next season we want to hit at least 2 of BOS, WAS, and PIT.. So I'm excited to see which of those teams the Devils (or her Flyers) play away on a weekend.. Also would love to hit PHX but both flyers and devils played there this season

Open on Firday October 12th in Washington.
Home opener the next night (Saturday October 13th) against Boston.

Things I'm noticing:

1. No St. Patrick's Day game, but a Saturday night on March 16th is probably just as good.
2. 10 of 14 games in February at home.
3. It's been awhile since we've had a big west coast swing so late in the season.
4. Kings/Devils - Saturday February 9th (afternoon game) - hockey weekend across America? (Not sure)
5. Blue Jackets, Sharks, Red Wings = three WC teams we play both home and away.
6. Longest road trip: 5 games (twice).
7. Longest home stand: 5 (March 5-13th).
8. We'll have only played 13 home games by Christmas, compared to 18 on the road.
9. Seven afternoon (1 PM) home games, one 3 PM (Sunday), two 5 PM (both on Sundays), three 7:30 PM (all on Wednesdays).

Two games in Carolina that I can actually make! The 12/2 is destiny. A Sunday matinee game on a week the Giants are on Monday Night Football. I have no excuse not to go

Damn, like over half the home games are February on. They really wanted to avoid the early season attendance blahs lol.
