Really weird, out of the blue tweet from Adam Proteau. Probably just a random thought, but interesting nonetheless. I'd doubt the Devils trade for PK

Adam Proteau ‏@Proteautype

Strangling P.K. Subban's smile & personality & turning him into a somnambulist N.J. Devil would be Lou Lamoriello's biggest accomplishment.

Maybe talking about us drafting Malcolm, since they apparently have similar outgoing personalities.

Dont want Malcolm. Hes a headcase. And the more I read on him, the less enthusiastic about him.

And that Proteau tweet is an insult to the Devils.

I have a similar trending feeling, but it depends on what is available at our pick. It might be a worthwhile risk depending on what's there.

Now I want to see the philth be passed by the islanders next season... :)
Stationed in Section 114, along with my friend who became a STH for 10-11. My sister got 1/2 season tickets after Kovy signed! Now she can enjoy that Kovy jersey often. woohoo!

Is we have Kovy? :)

Bryz :ninja:

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

Tim Thomas waived trade clause. It expired on July 1st anyway, but as figured, his "year off" BS was posturing to get out.

Yandle is also rumored trade bait and the Rags are apparently "leading" for him.

Yeah, it's a fine trade. I mean, it could be better, and Bobrovsky's not great, but there's no free agent market for goalies right now.

Yandle is a very good puck moving d-man, but why would the Rangers need him when they already have McDonaugh, Del Zotto, Girardi and Staal? Defense/goaltending was their strength this past season and they need secondary (or primary depending on how you look at it) scoring. If I were them, I'd be working out a deal for Bobby Ryan and pass on Nash and Yandle.

Oh oops lol. Yeah that's the one drawback about the net - hard to tell sometimes when a person is either joking/being sarcastic.

I would laugh a lot if there was a deal like Anisimov and Dubinsky for Yandle. Let's get to it, Sather.

No idea. They definitely need forward help, but I imagine Yandle would be an upgrade on Del Zotto and/or Girardi, who they could offload in another deal. Thats just whats being said on twitter rumor wise. Rags seem to be leading the charge for him.
