Do not want to stare at Giroux all year, How do I get this devil one?A solution to those who don't want to spend the $80 on Stanley Cup edition but also don't want to look at Giroux's mug all year, made this cover myself on Photoshop after the NHL awards when Giroux was announced as the cover athlete.
Enjoy guys!

That's true but if you want the Stanley Cup Cover it's a good deal as well. I still didn't buy NHL 12 so I might buy this one. Last years was the first one I haven't bought since they basically started making them.

Upgrades? The game was a major downgrade. The computer-controlled teammates have the hockey sense of a Choco Taco and if you're not playing in 720p, it's impossible to do manual line changes because it makes the game stutter down to a snail's pace. Not to mention half the time you hit somebody they fall in a way that defies physics. How can a person fall forwards after being hit from in front of them? You picked a good year to take off. NHL 12 was probably the weakest in terms of upgrades in this console generation. I have high hopes for NHL 13 though. If they finally did skating right, it could make a huuuuge difference. I am tired of playing "stop on a dime and twirl around" hockey.

The game really went downhill around that time. At least we still had 2K making NHL games then, theirs were far and away the better game from around 2003 to 2006 or 2007. EA made drastic improvements when they came out with I think NHL 08 though. Still, I wish 2K was around, they seemed more focused on realism than adding new entertaining features and I think the competition between the two made EA realize they had to get their act together. This is why I'm glad I stopped with this nonsense at the 2002 edition.

The GM connected mode looks sweet. Me and my friends are starting an online league, if anyone wants in. We are trying to get 30 people, 1 for each team. The teams that are already taken are the devils, penguins, rangers, predators, and blackhawks. If anyone wants in though let me know.

Man I wish my Super Nintendo still worked.Eh I think it's just minus a very select few games, I am not much of a gamer. For the past 10 years I probably average a total of 10-20 hours a year on playing video games and most of that is either on my old NES or SNES.
