I agree with those guys.

For some reason both Gionta and Josefson are not in the Albany lineup tonight yet Larsson, Butler, and Tedenby are still playing. I think Lou said they would all be playing and coming to NJ tomorrow for physicals so it's kind of weird that those two are healthy scratches.
It's also odd to think that both could be injured, without any word. Flu, maybe? Seems like everyone else is getting it, why not them

Yeah there is a flu bug going around right now. I just had it actually and know a bunch of other people that had it. But what's kind of weird is that JJ was ill about a month ago and they said prior to the game that he was out due to illness. If they were both sick/injured i would have thought they would do the same here. Guess we will find out soon enough. It's also odd to think that both could be injured, without any word. Flu, maybe? T.J. Brennan
Paul Postma
Oliver Ekman-Larsson

If you had to guess what ties these 6 players together right now, what would it be?

Here's a list of defensemen with better shots/game ratios than Eric Gelinas in the AHL:
Slava Voynov
T.J. Brennan
Paul Postma
Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Jake Gardiner
Michael Stone

Actually, they're healthy other than Corrente, with Hraberenka as an extra. Strange.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

If anyone was planning to go to Friday's A-Devs game in Springfield, don't bother. It's been rescheduled for April 2 due to the threat of inclement weather (read: big-ass snowstorm that's coming in this weekend).
of the Devils' mascot, NJ Devil, and
of all mascots far and wide.IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!!

Wedgewood's numbers may not jump out as being that great (40 GP 15-19-3-2 3.30 GAA .897 SV%) but he's really been carrying the load for a bad Trenton team (20th out of 23). He's ranked 3rd in minutes (2257), 2nd in Saves (1075), 3rd in GAA (min. 35 GP), and 3rd in SV% (min. 35 GP). He has 17 games with 30+ saves and his record is just 7-9-0-1 from that.

the .899 looks ghastly but if it's 3rd in the league playing for that awful team, I'm not gonna complain
