Watching game 7 again for the first time since that night, it's amazing to think we almost lost this series pretty much strictly because our penalty kill had all the effectiveness of a screen door on a submarine.

Stephen Weiss really had an amazing chance to end it...I think it was like 5-6 min into the 1st OT.

Brodeur contributed a huge amount to that ineffectiveness. Power plays are going to give up shots, but your goalie has to stop some of them.
