It looks like the KHL will be providing a streaming service for us.
The KHL has an English twitter account too.

Any idea when tickets for that event in Brooklyn will go on sale?

Rumors are Ovechkin to Dynamo Moscow so it looks like he'll square off against Kovalchuk in Brooklyn.

Thanks.
I think more than any fan protest out there, this is the kind of stuff that will make the CBA situtation move along. The threat of another legit league broadcast in the US and Canada.

The UFA Sports agency, which acts as the KHL’s marketing service partner in nations outside the League’s borders, has announced a surge in interest among North American TV companies seeking to broadcast matches in the KHL Championship.
At present, the American media are interested primarily in showing games featuring Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeny Malkin, Sergei Gonchar and other locked out NHL stars, so current talks are focused on coverage of games featuring Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Dynamo Moscow, CSKA Moscow and SKA Saint Petersburg.

The KHL is pennies on the dollar. Huge hockey fans like me will watch, but I doubt many other people will.

How were the KHL’s ratings on ESPN2? Better than Dan Le Batard, not as good as poker
The first broadcast was Tuesday, Oct. 9 between Alex Ovechkin's Dynamo Moscow and HC Lev Praha, Zdeno Chara's team. On Oct. 14, it was Ovechkin vs. Amur, a game that Dynamo won, 4-1. So, in other words, they weren't under Amur. (Drops mic.)
"Did hockey beat poker?"
Well, no. Poker ranked No. 32 on the weekly ESPN2 ratings. Even Alex Ovechkin can't overcome fat white guys with funny sunglasses bluffing each other.
Overall, that initial KHL rating showed promise. If the lockout continues, it might be enough to have the KHL on ESPN2 a few more times. Provided it includes more Barry Melrose commentary. And by that we mean more references to the Soviet Union-as-current-Russia.
