“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

It's a shame that Phoenix got ranked the #1 Overall NHL team because of the affordability of tickets bang-for-your-buck.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.
"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

Well, it's the offseason (in most American sports) and we all want some sports stuff, so this kind of articles isn't bad at this time of year. Obviously, I can't see GMs pulling their hair out because ESPN ranked their team low in some fan-satisfaction standings, but it's at least a good try at comparing franchises from different sports in terms of how they are run and how happy their fans are.Let's call it what it is. Since the Devils are ranked so high, there are no complaints. But if they happened to be 60th or 70th, this thread would be a few pages long saying ESPN knows sh!t. But the reality is this rankings stuff is such garbage. How they got the Devils at 13th makes no sense at all. It is actually laughable.

That already is the shocker and the punch line of the article.
Since when did ESPN turn into MAD magazine?
