It is believed after seeing the sucsess of the Gomez shoe buffer in New jersey, the New York Rangers made contact with Scott offering the same position at MSG, except for $10million dollars a year. Gomez believes that the fancier, less regimented shoes of the New York Rangers staff and players will mean greater sucsess for him as a shoe buffer in the future, enabling him to clean 100-120 pairs of shoes a day, rather than the 60 shoes average over his career at New Jersey"
