My name is Chris, and I am a casual fan of the Devils. The other hockey teams that I follow include the Bruins, Sharks and Flames, and I also enjoy baseball. Music and film are a large part of my life, and I generally put far too much of my time into both of them.

In professional hockey, the Devils are that rara avis, the team that is largely unmarked by the self-adoration and individualism prevalent amongst other organizations; the team that shines radiantly in the otherwise somber corporate sphere. Through many personnel changes and tribulations their pervasive, unwavering character and desire for victory have reigned triumphant. Whereas other teams may be alluring, the Devils have the rarest of traits: they are exemplary by nature.

The avatar was taken from Dead-Alive, which is a hilarious semi-horror movie directed by Peter Jackson. I'm sure you all know who he is by now. I edited it into an animated GIF, of course, and the only real frame is the first.
