Supposedly, talks for contracts with Subban and Benn have not been doing well. Is it possible, with the cap space we have, to buy Benn's rights?

Islanders sign Radek Martinek - I know they still need more defensemen, but I am disappointed.

I am LOVING the Gomez situation.

My personal hatred of him has pretty much completely dissipated, but, in my mind, he's still a money-grubbing, selfish player. And he's reaping what he sowed years ago by signing with NY.

I hope, somehow, some way, the same thing happens to Parise one day. I will laugh a loud, hearty laugh that day.

No I want the Devils to trade them a defenseman. The more stopgaps sign around the league, the more teams get fooled into thinking they're okay in that department, etc.

Eh as easy as it is to hate Gomez, they offered him a ton of money. And the devils didnt offer him a contract. I'm not a fan of his, but I think he was very easily convinced that he'd be a star there and was in over his head. He needed to be in a place like jersey.

The Isles have nobody that could fill a Devils need that could be had for just one of our so-so defenseman. Not even Grabner if he had a slow start. Or Okposo

I think he has paid for his sins. Leaguewide embarassment, laughing stock of two major markets etc...I've forgiven him.

Yea, he basically said he gave Kovy under the table approval to circumvent liability with insurance. He said Sykora is probably not back and the youth will get the chance to make it.

I don't dare question Lou and his methods, but he could've spared us a lot of nonsense if he had just come out and said that a few days ago

Lou, Steve Jobs and George Lucas are really similar lol fans have that love/hate relationship with them about the way they do their things, but when you step back and look at what they accomplished its like... ok well fine.

Lou would have never made the Star Wars prequels.
