Oh, please. Zach wasn't Dano or Stevens. He was a good Devils and he is a talented player, but who cares? He's gone, that's that.i wish butler wasnt wearing #9. its depressing to see that jersey skating around on an AHLers back
I don't like to see Bernier of all people wearing #18 that Sarge wore, but he does.

How do you blame Greene for that penalty??? If he doesn't do that, Grabner has a breakaway
Because he was the one that let the puck go past him and had to trip Grabner to make up for it. If he knew how to handle a puck it would have stayed in their zone as our powerplay

he was the best player on the team for about 6 years. he wasnt just a "good devil". reguardless it blows seeing a minor leaguer skating around with the numberOh, please. Zach wasn't Dano or Stevens. He was a good Devils and he is a talented player, but who cares? He's gone, that's that.

No one is bigger than the team. He chose to leave, the Devils chose to give his number away. He probably could've made sure no one ever wore it again if he stayed. Personally, I'm glad they gave it away to the first person they signed after he left.

Dunno about depressing but boy they don't waste any time reassigning numbers.
"No pressure kid but here's #9 for you to wear."
of Zach Parise's McFarlane Figure!NEW JERSEY In keeping with the fact they are the Devils, New Jersey actually went with a villain by the name of Lex Lou-Lamoriello, an evil genius who finds ways to get around the salary cap until he is stopped in his tracks by Bett-man.

Also if you all think Greene sucks then I can tell you of about 2-3 defenseman on this team who have played worse so far this season.

He is probably more excited about playing at the NHL level and could give a rats ass about what number they gave him.
This is again the perfect example of an issue that is created purely in the minds of a teams fanbase.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur
