Parise is gonna be very average when he loses his step. so y do people care. you wanna pay him a little below 100 million and take that 7 million dollar cap hit for guy who isn't gonna be that good in 3-4 years? blessing in disguise

Kovy lost a step in last year's playoffs (in a manner of speaking) and was still effective. Of course it would help if he wasn't playing top defenseman minutes out there.
And funny how quick people forget Lou couldn't wait to put 15 on someone else after MacLean left, and he was actually a guy you could make a case should have had the number retired, unlike the guy who walked out on a Finals team.

Greene has been fantastic. He can actually skate. Our cement footed Captain and Cold War tank is killing this team. And they aren't physical or intimidating to even begin to make up for it. Fayne is just solid. I'd like see Harrold used more as well.
