The link was dead sometime ago...  I was not planning on going, but for the price I couldnt say no (even more so when I found out I didnt have the pay for the ticket in the end)

People are talking about two different things.

 

1. The link posted above (that is now dead) was offering club seats for $75 (which is an incredible deal; face value is over $250).

 

2. The free tickets that were mentioned was a Twitter promotion the Devils did. On Sunday night, right before warmups, the team tweeted: "Season Ticket Holders ONLY! Stop by STH Central behind section 19 tonight & show this Tweet for a special limited offer." Season ticket holders who saw the tweet and stopped by were upgraded to the club section for free.

I wouldn't count on any deals, judging from the demand for tickets this game has had.  Then again, I wouldn't have expected $75 club deals for Devils-Flyers either and that happened, so who knows...

Actually we do. The Devils have reused codes a couple of times. I have gone back to some codes and seen new games added. Thanks for your input.

Even if they re-use codes I'm sure they still send out an e-mail with the same link first, no?  I doubt 'losing' the link matters unless they don't re-issue the link later.

That would require you to receive all of the emails for these groups at one time or another. Most of these codes did not come through email.
