Apparently Teddy took a skate blade to the face. Hope he is ok.

For those asking on Mattias Tedenby, I'm trying to get an update. He was cut in the face with a skate tonight in Albany's game at Adirondack
Apparently, it was a deep cut, but according toDoherty (Albany Times Union), that was all the info Albany Devils/Chris Lamoriello provided.

Report on his facebook fan page is "upwards of 130 stitches". God I feel bad for Teddy.
EDIT: Im not finding any evidence the 130 is accurate, all the Devils say is that he is going to have plastic surgery.

130 is nothing for plastic surgery They said its deep so they would put maybe 3-4 layers of stitches. I had a cut on my chin that was prob maybe inch and a half and I had almost 100 stitches and it was not that deep.
I feel bad for him, he can not catch a break

All things considered, obviously...
Albany Devils left wing Mattias Tedenby “appears to be OK” after undergoing “long surgery” for a cut to the face he sustained during an AHL game Friday night against Adirondack, his agent in Sweden, Peter Werner, said via email this morning.
“Long surgery, but we believe it’s mainly cosmetical,” Werner said. “Some nerves were cut but likely restored in the surgery.”

Damn, speedy recovery Teddy. The agent said on twitter he had some nerve damage and it was hopefully repaird. Poor dude, ouch.
