of Zach Parise's McFarlane Figure!NEW JERSEY In keeping with the fact they are the Devils, New Jersey actually went with a villain by the name of Lex Lou-Lamoriello, an evil genius who finds ways to get around the salary cap until he is stopped in his tracks by Bett-man.

Twice in two games now we've given up 3 goals in about 2 1/2 minutes. Inexcusable.

I can't believe Larsson wasn't on both of the PKs
I can't believe Fayne is sitting while Tallinder and Salvador both get to sh!t the bed out there. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets worse in the 3rd.

Bench Tallinder and Salvador this period, absolutely pathetic display of hockey. When your team goes down 1-0 and you're captain, you don't start a fight that just rocked your ass with a textbook-clean hit. He should be ashamed of himself, this (potential) loss is on him. If he doesn't take that stupid penalty, we have a chance to come back, we don't get shaken up by a powerplay.

I don't see how we're getting outplayed in either period, we'd had our chances in both and the game has been very even. If you take out the 2-3 minutes that we got scored on, we've played a fairly good game. So, this is on Salvador for taking the shovel from the Islanders and digging our hole deeper during a time where our team needed to rally and get one back. It wasn't some soft call that came as a result of him playing tough defense or shutting someone down. He tried to start a fight with no one around, the puck 90 feet away, and the refs clearly looking at him. We're not Philly, that's unacceptable, and we get further shaken up after the goal that comes as a result..

I agree that the Salvador penalty was a dumbass penalty to take and also that tallinder is just for awful but you can't blame just the two of the. For being in a hole. Game could have been 3-0 much sooner. Moose bailed them out for a while. Shame cause I thought the first period was pretty good
It could've been worse, but it wasn't. Isles start the take the momentum with a goal and before the Devils even get a chance to respond, the CAPTAIN OF THE TEAM takes an inexcusable and completely avoidable penalty that gives the Islanders whatever momentum they didn't already have. Game is on him right now, period.

Agree completely. He didn't even give his team a chance to fight back and that's inexcusable. Last time I checked, Janssen is in the AHL right now, no need for that garbage..

Bernier is the only one playing.
“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur
