This also give them a chance to play Loktionov tomorrow vs. Ottawa.
Loktionov is in Josefson's spot on the fourth line today with Barch/Matteau, Butler.
The other three lines remain the same.

lol so much for my last post. I don't really see how this is going to help unless they put Loik on the third line, but that might involve breaking up the Gionta group.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

I dont think Lokti will look good with Butler and Barch. But I dont know who can look good on that line.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

Loktionov is wearing No. 21 -- previously worn this season by Mattias Tedenby.

Kind of saw this move coming, Josefson hasn't been playing his best.

This will be good to see what this kid can do. Josefson in my opinion only had one real good game so far. Doesn't cut it if you want to stay in the NHL.

Sensible move. Josefson needs to get his confidence back and work on his shot. No harm in seeing what Loktionov can do.
However, we are starting to run out of guys. Eventually, Lou can't keep running an AHL/NHL carousel with these guys and may need to add another proven forward via trade.

JJ hasn't even tried to score. His head is not screwed on right. Needs a little seasoning.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.
"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

Needed to be done. One accidental point and a -8 were not gonna cut it. Excited to see what Lokti can bring.

Good move this. JJ has potential, and rotating him in to the team every now and then will improve him all round rather than running him down and breaking all the work he's had up to now. Looking forward to seeing Loki on the ice too.
