Not surprised at all. They didnt acquire Lokti just to have him sit in the AHL for his last year.

“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

I dont think Lokti will look good with Butler and Barch. But I dont know who can look good on that line.

Butler has been almost making things happen with little support from Barch and close to none from Josefson. If Lokti can play they can probably start creating some offense instead of nothing.
Yeah Barch is holding his own but I would like to see more offense develop for Butler. You can see the kid has talent. Barch plays very conservatively which isn't a bad thing but I would like to see more offense throughout our four lines. So lets hope Lokti fits right in.

Good move. Josefson hasn't been doing enough. Maybe this will wake him up and give the big club someone who will be a bit more effective.

the problem is that we have the possibility of having a good 3rd or 4th line but it's dragged down by Barch. Send BARCH down and make a decent line with people who can produce and not be a liability

We dont want Clarkson, Bernier, or Carter to fight someone who is gooning it up against us. He'll be benched before the playoffs (hopefully).

Sad thing is Barch had better scoring chances and generated better opportunities than JJ did as of late. Their near miss in the first that Barch set up with the wrap around stands out in particular.

Barch has actually played pretty well. He's not the fleetest of foot, but he actually has shown some effectiveness in the offensive zone in maintaining possession and along the boards.

JJ needs to be in a better situation to succeed, but his shot needs work. Hopefully they make him shoot a ton in Albany.

Then stop begging for him to be sent down. All teams carry at least one goon with them during the regular season. Barch is going to stay, there's just no question about it.

Josefson needs to play like he has some cojones. Teddy plays bigger for crying out loud.

Not long ago Teddy and JJ were our most promising rookies/prospects...
Sadly, they now seem that they will go down in Devils folklore history together as the Swedish busts.......
