Not Devils-related, but found this interesting since it involves the arena where our rivals across the river play.

I take it this is no big deal, since nobody's panicking?

"A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness."

Any chance they use this as leverage to get Dolan to pay some taxes? If I was a Manhattan resident paying $1,200 a month for my studio apartment I'd be pissed that MSG doesn't have to pay taxes to the city.. Dolan is such a greedy POS, did anyone catch that article about how he fired 20 employees for wanting to unionize?

I'd fire them too...  Unions are bad, mmmkay.

It would be great for MSG to move.   Working in 2Penn... I absolutely hate some nights when it's a fight to get down the stairs to Penn Station.

Add some curtains, and split it three ways :)

Lol 1200, I recall paying that 10 years ago. Those were the cheap days.

Looks like its possible they move in 10 years, build new arena, ticket prices go up!  My ranger fan friends are already crying about ticket prices there.

Even more off topic, $1200 gets you a 4 bedroom house in Michigan.

Lol I just made up some number that sounded fairly ridiculous and now I found out that the real number is even more ridiculous! Although my cousin has a rent stabilized apartment at about that much in Hell's Kitchen.. He says he can't ever move due to the rent bring so low

All of these teams and arena owners get sweetheart deals that last for years after the arena is built.

JVB got a sweetheart deal too FYI.
