. Fine by me. Someone needs to get pissed.I want a motherfvcking table turned over or something now. Enough is enough. They pissed this away. Gave it away. This wasn't anything Toronto did. This was the Devils pissing a game away.
Time for Lou to throw another jar of jelly?

Are you being serious or no i cant tell. Theres no such thing as a flukey run to the cup.
I know it wasn't a fluke, but everything that can go wrong will go wrong and it feels like there is no end in sight.
And I am usually the most patient of people.

its a losing streak. it happens, you'd think they were just eliminated from the playoffs by the replies on here. tomorrow is game 1 of 26 with with a 1 or 2 point handicap to make the playoffs. and that's how the players and coaches will look at it too.

If they don't win by Thursday, and Marty's still not back, it's DEFCON 1 time. Another two weeks like this and we may be sellers instead of buyers at the deadline.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

Devils have no more breathing room. The cushion they created early in the season is gone. NOW is the time to look in the mirror and put everything behind them. If they can pull together a nice stretch of games for the next few weeks they will be fine. Thats a lot of Ifs though.
“I think winning against them in the big stage, not just for me, but for the fans of New Jersey, people that are supporting us and always take a second seat to these guys for whatever reason, now they’ve got to be pretty happy going to work and going to school and doing all their things that they do." - Martin Brodeur

Everytime he goes coast to coast, it's very symbolic. If anything, he's the only one to seem like he's trying and cares, Clarkson at times too, and CBGB as well, whether the results show it or not.
But as every game passes by, I feel like Kovalchuk's all we have. We don't have any high calibur player right now that could help us right the ship. We need someone to stand out, and our Captain sure as hell ain't going to do it.

well we know he's the only high calibre, devils are not about that they are about working together for a goal and now they can't seem to pass without a 'block'

They have this year and next year to give it up.

We're just fortunate that the once powerful Atlantic division is horrible this year. How we're ahead of the Rangers and Flyers is evidence of how truly awful they started out.
