Wake up to what, the fact this team is awful and not even worth salvaging? We literally suck in every single area now...offense, defense, special teams, goaltending.

Why isn't Kinkaid playing? I thought Brodeur's injury wasn't serious and he's been out for 2+ weeks or however long it's been, and the team is useless in this condition.

The goalie situation needs to be sorted soon. Hedberg just isn't good enough playing as the main goalie.... great backup, awful starter. Also Harrold should have an early bath, haven't seen him do anything worthwhile in this game. Nothing is going right at the moment and the change needs to come from the off-ice staff.

It isn't worth it this year.

 

Sometimes you have to suck it up and accept what you are and right now the Devils are a bottom feeder. There is no way around that. This team gets blown out every night now and if not for a VERY lucky come from behind win, this team could be staring at a 15 losing streak right in the face.

They do, but they also are a team that puts constant pressure. They have all speed guys and the most aggressive forcheck in hockey that cause a ton of turnovers. Now we can counter that, we have gotten plenty of good chances today. However our guys have no finish while they can finish and get the bounces

I agree with you, but these lucky bounces have been with the Canes for YEARS, they always have given us fits (even before the speed and forcheck)
