How slow was Larsson on that empty net goal? The kid can't skate.

Very, very slow. I'm always a Larsson defender, but he looked awful on the play.
#4 overall with that footspeed? Oh okay

As slow as he was, he is a lot faster now than last year. He is not at all a fast skater.

defense is about positioning, not speed. And somehow I don't think they were ignorant of his speed when they drafted him #4. How fast do you really need to be when you're skating backwards half the time?

Considering Brodeur might be out for a long time, do we need another goalie to support Hedberg? If yes, that goalie is Frazee? Kincaid? Outside of the organisation goaltender ? (Trade)
Considering our offense sucks do we need need to trade for a top 6 forward ? Do we have the assets to get such a player ?
Even our defense seems bogus to me right now. Do we need to call up Urbom ? Or any kind of move to improve the defense ?

So whats the solution ? What is the solution to get this team back to winning games ?

Whoever is the goalie needs to start making tough saves. Devils haven't had a goalie make more tough saves than giving up soft goals in 9 games, tough to win when that's happening.

Hedberg can't move side to side for the life of him. Any 2 on 1, we were doomed.

Thad be great.
Ottawa has three and the Kings have one.
Either make the god damn trade or miss the playoffs.
I'm sick of this garbage!!!!
Stanley Cups 3 (1994–95, 1999–00, 2002–03)
Conference championships 5 (1994–95, 1999–00, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2011-12)
Division championships 9 (1996–97, 1997–98, 1998–99, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2005–06, 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10)

No moves are coming. There's not much you can do with pretty much zero in assets. None of our D are good enough to bring back a top 6 Forward alone, we can't afford to let go of any forwards, both goalies are over the hill. You can throw in prospects, but would Lou really want to put the team's future in jeopardy so that we can have a shot at being better this season?

This. We keep outshooting teams and losing. Sure, there are other issues, but a good goalie masks a lot of those, and Moose has been pretty bad since taking over.

DeBoer: "You look at our schedule, we’ve got back-to-back. It made no sense to keep Heddy in there. He’s got to play again tomorrow."
He doesn't HAVE to play tomorrow. Ugh. I'm about to lose my fvcking mind.

Okay so basically unless you are saying this is pretty much a lost season (not making the playoffs) the answer is within the organization ?No moves are coming. What could we do that wouldn't be trade that could help the team?

Trade Tally, Volch, Sal for prospects, picks and maybe a 3rd liner. Bring in the young guys like Urbom. Keep Harrold and Larsson in the game.

Faster than the guy wearing ruts in the ice going past you all night. He's terrible. Don't care about age because he is on the big boy roster.
The game by no means can be put on him, far from it.

We have more important issues than Larsson's effort on an empty netter
No, you see the effort was more than there. That's the problem.

If anything that's a more long-term issue. If he's going to get blown by at 20 like he's 50, that doesn't speak well to how fast he's going to be at 27, or 32.
No, you see the effort was more than there. That's the problem.
Exactly.
The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03
